A personal Claude Skills collection that keeps growing

repo ↗

Most of what I do with Claude, I end up doing more than once. Each time, I explain the same things again: how I like to work, when to stop and check with me, what a good result looks like. A skill is where that explanation goes to live. You write it once, and Claude follows it every time you call it.

So I started keeping mine in one place: Claude Skills. It's a repo of the skills I write, grouped by category, and it will keep growing as I write more.

What's in it so far

The first two are about learning, because that's what I wanted first:

Both work the way I like to learn: one part at a time, stopping so I can read and ask questions before moving on, with a progress file so I can come back a week later and pick up where I left off.

That's just where it starts. Each new skill goes into a category, old or new, and the repo's changelog records what was added in each version.

The ones I didn't write

Plenty of good skills already exist, so the repo also lists the ones by others that I use, with links to where they came from. Two I keep coming back to: grill-me, which interviews you about a plan until every open question is settled, and last30days, which researches what people have been saying about a topic over the last 30 days. My skills and theirs, in one place.

Try them

Install all of them as a plugin, inside Claude Code:

/plugin marketplace add jleitaom/claude-skills
/plugin install jleitaom-skills@jleitaom

Run /plugin update later and new skills arrive on their own. Or pick just the ones you want, with the skills CLI:

npx skills add jleitaom/claude-skills --list

Everything else, from what each skill does to how to update, is in the repo.
